Toews missed around 20Games. Why should he be in the top 3?..
If you need to consider the entire year. I don't see how coming back from ''poor play'' to steal the #1 job of an all-star goalie on the #1seed in the East is not more deserving than a 64GP 54pts season.

If we add the 1st half a big part of which Toews was injured..i don't see how he deserves it.
If we're gonna take everything into consideration as you seem to do, why not say Backstrom played with Ovechkin all season, a guy that scored 68G..
Why not say Kane and Toews can play 40min a game, there's simply nobody in CHI.

Im not defending Price..i dont think he deserved the Calder..not even close. But i don't see how Toews is easily cracking top 3 but Price isnt deserving of it.
