I think mcphee has him pegged. Similar to Koivu, but needs to start using his speed on the outside, low, driving to the net. Saku should teach him how to protect the puck (keep it outside, away from the defender) all-the-while using his other hand to "lean" against the defender while keeping low and moving his feet towards the net.

Koivu was awesome at this when he had that extra step. Low center of gravity, leverage, speed, drive(to the net) and protecting the puck. If he keeps his feet moving, he either gets to the net, or draws a most cases, that is.

Having said that, this is something Andrei is built for too. They should show those 2 old clips of Koivu pre his first major leg injury. He was almost unstoppable back then. To think how great he would had become had he not lost that step (which he clearly did).
