Thats the same logic that got us Samsonov a couple of years back

whenever you give someone an NHL contract, there's always a risk involved, there's a cap, a signing limit (I think 50 players that can be signed including our own draft picks) Not to mention limited roster spaces and ice-time

If we do offer him a contract it must be because we think he's worth it, not because "more assets we can get, the better"
