Blackburn, Balej, 6th overall and 25th overall for 1st overall.

Balej is a good player (saw him this year in Hamilton of the AHL). Blackburn would be a solid #2 goalie in Washington, and can learn from Kolzig (if he comes back). The two firsts would help out Washington by grabbing two young prospects, and NYR will get Ovetchkin? Is this at all possible?? Tell me what you think. If this doesnt work, would you be willing to trade someone else with picks for #1 overall.
If the Rangers need youth so badly (and they do) why on Earth are you trading "four pieces of youth" for one?

The Rangers spending a lot to get Ovechkin is the same old Ranger organization philosophy only in a different color. How many times have the Rangers made moves for the one player who will supposedly put the back in the playoffs as Cup contenders? Fleury, Lindros, Bure, Holik, Kovalev, Jagr. Where does it stop?

Ovechkin might become a great player but I would rather keep the pure numbers (prospects, players, and picks) than just AO.
