A. Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Kovalev
Fabien Brunnstrom or Ryan Malone - Koivu - S. Kositsyn
Higgins - Chipchura - Latendresse
Matt Cooke or Jarkko Ruutu - Sean Avery / Lapierre - Kostopoulos

Markov - Komisarek
Hamrlik - O'Byrne
Gorges - Valentenko

Line 1 - Was good all year long and should have been reunited way before game 5 in round 2

Line 2 - Option 1A Brunnstrom is supposed to be the real deal He's big 6'1 200, fast and has a great shot.

Line 2 - Option 1A-2 Malone See above but a bigger guy at 6'4 215 (doubt Pittsburgh let's him go)

Line 3 - Higgins is a better fit here as he can be a shut down guy who can score 25 a year, a role better suited then the one he was asked to be this year (a natural sniper). Chipchura 6'2 205 has the size to be the shut down C Montreal needs to compete with the bigger more physical teams (Flyers). He also has a better vision of the game then Lapierre and is a better passer. Latendresse has a good shot and is strong in the corners and along the boards, I think he would be better suited to play with Chipchura and Higgins as they play more his style.

Line 4 (Energy Line) - Cooke or Jarko Ruuttu either or will do just fine, both are huge pains in the ass and will drop em if they have to. Sean Avery hate em but would love to have him on your team any day. If not him I would give Lapierre another shot at that role. Kostopoulos, he just needs to continue the way he ended the regular season and playoffs. He stuck up for his teamates and played with passion and heart every night.

On Defence - Markov Komiserek and Hamerlik will continue to be Montreal's top 3 rounding them up should be O'Byrne Gorges and rookie Valentenko (Big guy 6.02 202 great shot blocker and plays with a mean streak)

Markov Komiserek
Hamerlik O'Byrne
Gorges Valentenko

Goalies No Brainer!
