I think when looking at our top 2 lines, it would be wiser putting Jagr alongside Koivu than on the same line as Kovalev. We have seen this year that Kovalev likes to be the go to guy on that line. He wants to puck. We've been saying since the past dozen or so years that Koivu has pretty much played his entire NHL career without any elite linemates. How many times have we said, if Koivu played with so and so, he wouldn't be considered a second line center ? We would be able to create a line with Jagr-Koivu-Kost Jr...and we can put less pressure on Higgins by placing him on a 3rd line where he might feel a bit more comfortable
