I wish I knew as well why they took it out in the first place, although I was a snobby electronic music enthusiast in those days and didn't like the trumpet sound used in the track.

I always assumed that the Habs commissionned the track from l'Oreille. If so, it would have been wise of them to buy all right of the track forever.

Anyone ever tried to contact someone at l'Oreille to get the full story?

Bono is a fame *****. I doubt he truly cares one way or the other about the Habs, except when he's in Montreal. I'm sure he's a huge football (soccer) fan when he's in Brazil.

I noticed U2 songs and In The Air Tonight were getting played in other hockey arenas as well this year. I wish someone in the Habs organization would work on providing a more distinct music signature for the Bell Centre. Hell Uncle George, if no one can do this for you, hire me and I'll do it for you!
