I expected Latendresse to struggle more this year than he has. He had a very acceptable sophomore season all things considered.

He's a smart player. I also think he will be able to play a legit power forward game as he gains fitness and matures but above all, I think he needs to improve his skating. He's never going to fly by opponents but being a bit more sound skating-wise could be a big difference.

People have mentioned his decent hands, the size and so on but what I like most is his hockey sense. He's got great hockey sense for that type of player and a way to make good on it is if he can actually skate better. If he does, starting next year he's going to rise up the Habs chart.

I think he can be one of the Habs 3 best wingers starting next year. And starting in his fourth year, he could be one of the most valuable forwards on the team.

Guillaume has amazing potential, IMO.
