VanRyn is a puck moving defensman when he's on his game and was very good for us before his wrist injuries. If he can rehab and come back healthily and strongly, he can be a valuable player for us. The potential risk of trading him vs. keeping him and seeing him return to form isn't worth it for us.

I just wonder where that puck-mover is going to fit. Bouw-Allen/Skrastins, puck-mover Jacques has in mind(?)-Allen/Skrastins, Ryno-Murphy/Cullimore/Welch/and I was impressed with Johansson's game after he came here. Well, I was more impressed with him than I was with Murphy.
Cullimore isn't under contract, but I think they should bring him back, he was great last season.
