they have had two good seasons...but the jump from the OHL to the NHL is enormous...they are young guys, why push them into a situation where they are not equipped to compete? Look at how Hitchcock coaches, it is about commitment, energy and the willingness to compete. Young guys get overwhelmed by the "pro life and game' and simply can't do it...look at Pitkanen. Never mind the emerging question of his concussions at a young age (Richards may be in the same boat), he wasn't equipped to compete yet...he will be but not yet. Seasoning is required folks. There is NO advantage to rushing a player.

Giving a look is one thing, counting on Carter to be your second line center is ridiculous...
