how does it work? im curious? unless i did my math wrong, that adds up to 63.5ish (dont forget the ~1.5 million that rolls over), with ZERO backup players outside of Vally (can he also play forward and defense?)
Were talking roughly 7.5 million over the cap, and even if Jagr signed a 1 year contract with bonuses, only about 3 mil or so can roll over. so at best that lineup, with no backup forwards or defenseman, is 4.5 million dollars over the cap.
Im sorry, but not only does this NOT work mathematically, it would make no sense whatsoever to have no backup players, and it would make no sense to have so much money tied up in so many players for such long terms. youre talking essentially 6 7+ million dollar players, when more than 3 is considered idiotic.
