That's about the same amount, 1/3 of eligable voters, or percentage of voters,who will vote in the upcoming federal election here in Canada. So, does that mean it doesn't count??? Whatever the numbers, Ryder still had 17% more votes than Raycroft. If these were the numbers counted in a poll, it would not even be considered close!!!
By the way, all the talk is about the votes for Ryder and Raycroft (total of 206) being 1/3 of the NHL players. What about other rookies? How many votes were cast for them, therefore the total number of votes may well have been a great deal higher, right??
