As for the Warrener proposal, no thanks. As I've already comented, Parrish doesn't answer a need for the Flames. I don't know Mapletoft as well as I'd like to, but from what I saw from the Isles games he's played he didn't stand out for me at all. Last summer I was proposing moves for Hunter, as I really liked what I saw of him last season -- if only that had gone down.
BTW: I was under a different moniker last summer.
Mapletoft could do just as well as Hunter or Torres if given the chance. Who knows?--If you don't like the Parrish proposal that's fine but that is alot more realistic than the proposal you threw out. Turek is waiver wire fodder, Reinprecht is not better than any top 9 isles forward (other than Bates) Gauts is the only thing of value in your deal---and he is a 5th dman on our team.
