The truth is whether people like it or not, if we get rid of Jagr we are offensively done. If we couldn't score WITH him we will not score without him. There are no players available that are better than him to replace his offense. Not even Hossa. And I would hate to overpay for a player again like we did last year. Drury and Gomez NEED great offensive players around them. One because he is more a defensive player and the other is dynamic but plays out of synch with the so so talent up front this team has and for some reason plays a different game than Jaromir. But it doesn't matter cus Jaromir has Dubinsky as his new center. I think Cherepanov's playmaking style will mesh well with Gomez because they are both fast and good stickhandlers if you put someone on left wing who can occupy space and put in the garbage goals, that should be a good line when the time comes. Imagine if we could get that out of Jessiman, is that out of the realm of possibility? In the meantime we must resign Jagr to hold the fort for this team or we will not make the playoffs and we won't be bad enough to get a top 5 pick to get a real impact offensive player. Man PLEASE TANK THE SEASON FOR TAVERES! PLEASE! Imagine him and Cherepanov!!!!
