that's somewhat understood, but there are a myriad of college players who stay in school the whole four years and immediately make the jump to the NHL. The timeframe is roughly the same as some have outlined for Hugh (meaning, a couple years in college, and a couple years in the AHL, then the NHL) - so is there much difference? Heck, Mike York played four years in college and the next season was an NHLer with 20+ goals.

and Prucha...there has been no facts pointed out here, so thus there's nothing that has not been grasped.

Fact: Mike York played four years in college. Fact: Mike York York scored 26 goals in his first full season, which was in the NHL, after graduating college. He was 22 by the end of that season.
