If not, there should be.
Going by trade value the obvious candidate would be Dubinsky.
His stock did rise above expectations last season when he was promoted to the first line, centered Jagr, and did very well at that.
But is he a true first line center?
Not for the Rangers, not for several years to come. He may be much more valuable to another team that could be willing to pay a high price.
However, Sather has shown in recent years that he is reluctant to trade away youth, so my guess is that Dubinsky will not be traded. Of course I also hope he won't be...
Shhhh. That kind of talk will get you hung around here. Last time I brought that up people freaked out.
