Great post. Like others have said, I'd add Roszival, Straka, and Nylander to the list. These last three demonstrated that this wasn't a ufa graveyard where oldsters could take a dump on the center ice Rangers logo at MSG while calling their accountant to figure out exactly how much they stole from the Rangers. Instead they played hard, contributed and became Rangers.

I also think an honorable mention goes to 2 guys who get a lot of flak from fans but who helped change the team for the better: Hollweg, who helped bring a menace to the Rangers forecheck that had been absent for too long, and Orr who showed that the Ranger would dress and play a guy that wants to go toe-to-toe with whatever cretin the likes of the Devils and Philly dredge up.
