The wrong move would be to throw Wilson into the Nashville lineup to start this season at a new position (wing - Legwand cannot play on the wing) where he would have tremendous expectations placed on him to fill a top six role immediately. He still has a couple of areas of his game that need to be refined (skating primarily) and the college environment provides a great place for him to do that working with a great coach (Jack Parker) and all the support needed from both the Predators and USA Hockey throughout the season.
Slake not that I disagree with you on Wilson. I'm curious though as to why you think Legwand couldn't play wing. His speed and puck skills make him a better center but wing is far easier to play than center.
