He has decent vision offensively. He has the strength/puck control the get off the boards with the puck or take it through close traffic and give himself time to look up and see what play is on. Defensively, his vision is better, he can read a situation well and react accordingly. He will occasionally make big hits, but is better at playing positionally and angling people off/rubbing them into the boards where he uses his strength to battle for the puck.

Not to keep harping like he's the second coming, but he also has underrated passing skills and knows at game speed when to dish, shoot or clear, which is what separates a lot of 4th liners from 2nd liners.
