what is ignorant is people believing that on an offensively challenged losing team like the coyotes, the coach would purposely hold a guy back from producing for no reason. It really makes sense. "Gretzky doesn't want his team to score or win unless it's his favorite players doing the scoring". Gimme a break.
He produced 2 goals only because the line he was on wasn't supposed to score and he was playing on the 4th line.

They held him back on the bottom lines because that is all they thought he was good for and that when he started producing on the bottom units they would move him up. The few times that they did move him up, he was very good and clicked well. The line of Vrbata-Hanzal-Sjostrom absolutely was dynamite for the Coyotes during the middle part of the season. This was the 2nd line. Put Sjostrom up and he will produce.
