I've seen Barker in the memorial cup, prospects game and remax games (pretty sure he played, got them all on tape still) I personally think Thelen is the better defensemen, as I can't get enough of this kid. While I like Barker, and think he's right up there, I'd take Thelen over him.
As for Meszaros, I'd take him behind Valabik, personally.
I would rank the defensemen
Meszaros (who I thought played well in the wjc's)
Green (who I might have over Smid, but I've been told he's soft outside the CHL game)
O'Neil (was just watching a Cornell/Noter Dame game today, O'Neil I think is the opposite of Hainsey. While Hainsey has impressive offensive abilities, O'Neil has impressive defensive abillites. I've been down on O'Neil, but if he picks up his offensive game, he could be a good one. Big, skates well, good speed, although not very physical for a big guy and not much offense in the 3 games I've seen)
