He had 47 points in 68 games his rookie year. To say somehow that he has nothing left to do that is just absurd.
I would love to see how he could've been a better player somehow last year buried on the 4th line with zero powerplay time. The guy can only go up from there..
He looks nothing like he did as a rookie. He doesn't move as well, he doesn't work the puck as well and his shot has gone from quick and accurate to something that resembles an off balance golf swing that hits more legs than Nedveds old wrister.
I would love to see him bounce back but until he plays like he used to its not going to happen with all of the ice time in the world.
