Well, I'm
Only A Hobo...

But back to Stoll,

I hope we try him at RW--He's a
real battler along the boards,
is pretty strong & has good hands. A line of :
Frolov(LW)/Boyle(C)/Stoll(RW) would have
formidable strength and skill.

Another combo,
Frolov(LW)/O'Sullivan(C)/Stoll(C)
looks to have potential as well.

Ideally, Stoll would be the 3rd-line C, BUT--We won't
have the depth in '08-09 to AVOID having Stoll on
the top 6 quite a bit of the time.

Ofcourse, if both Boyle and Purcell
make a splash this year, then that fills out our top 2 lines.

I'm just, for some reason, not expecting Purcell to be quite ready this season--I think
he'll be up & down and maybe just play
part of the season up in LA.

In that case, Stoll will be handy to have
as a top-6 insert who can hold his own.
(Sure beats using Armstrong there).

By the '09-10 season, Purcell will likely be in the Kings lineup,
plus Simmonds and/or Moller may be ready.
At that time, Stoll will be able
to be moved to mostly 3rd-line duty,
where he can actually dominate at times.
