Free Concert/Show Schedule for the summer

A friend of mine sent this to me via Word document so the cut and paste was not pretty. Below is a list of free summer concerts and shows in NYC incase anyone is interested. There seem to be a few known bands here and there.

And I apologize to the mods for such a long post!

When: June 8 from 6-9pm
Where: Rumsey Playfield, Central Park, 72nd Street & Fifth Avenue
What: Fifth Avenue is closed to traffic for the entire length of the mile, live bands, musicians and street performers create the biggest block party In New York where people are encouraged to explore the full range of museum offerings along the Mile. Don’t attempt all nine museums in three hours!!


When: Monday nights at dusk- around 8:00 pm, beginning in June
