The Humboldt Indians are pleased to select the player we believe is the top offensive threat available in the draft. He was second in scoring for the Leafs when they won the Cup in 42, he was top 10 in assists four times, and in 1946-47, he led the league in assists, ahead of the Bentley's, Lach, Schmidt, Apps, Blake and a host of other greats. His playoff record is actually fairly impressive for a player from that era. He also spent two years serving during the war:
