Well, the reasoning I think would be that if Meszaros would be brought in, someone is brought out. At that point you'd got to imagine a player like Salo or Krajicek is likely on the way out.

IMO Meszaros is worth losing the picks for, and if Ottawa chooses to lose a player of his ability for draft picks, so be it. But that said a team like Columbus might have even more to gain, especially as their roster is really starting to come together with Leclaire in net.
