Agreed. In addition ...

Gorges and O'Byrne are also hopefully going to get better by playing. Brisebois would only take ice time away from their development. Brisebois has been a UFA since July 1, does anyone know if another team even made a sniff at acquiring his services? My guess is zero and the reason is that other teams would rather nurture the future than assuage the past. Brisebois is the past.
