To me we still need to invest in our youth, unless a guy like Sunding comes a long but the longer it takes the less probable it will is to happe IMO.

We have few options at center ... if I would stick to the thread which I wont I would say that Higgins did quite a good job in the abscence of koivu during the playoff, much better then the job Sergei did when he played center. But before we move a winger to center we have to consider using one of our young player in that position.

Currently there is Maxwell and Chipchura that could pretend to be ready for a spot and we could argue that Pacioretty could potentially be ready for a position as well at the wing (although we probably all think he will need some seasonning in the AHL).

So the end question will be are we stronger with say:
1. Higgins in center flanked by Latendresse and Pacioretty
2. Chip in center flanked by Higgins and S.Kostsitsyn
3. Maxwell in center flanked by two experience winger (say tanguay and Kovalev)

To be honest I do believe one of the three will stand out at camp .. If I had to put my money somewhere I would go for 2 or 3 but likely 2.
