Montreal is rebuilding/transitional period, the likelihood they mortgage their best defensive prospect, and probably second best forward prospect in one deal is extremely unlikely even if Brodeur comes back. Trading Ribeiro after his "breakout year" in Montreal is PR disaster.
Not if you get back Brodeur and Gomez.
