Good move by Atlanta, something we're not used to.
Could have done so by grabbing him on waivers as well. It's just a greedy move by the ownership. Save 1.8M but lose assets, great move.

Doesn't make much sense to be honest with ya. If teams are interested in an affordable, pretty reliable bottom pairing D-man with offensive flair, they will contact Atlanta at the deadline, not the other way around.
