Well, this proves someone is asleep at the controls in Habs central. L.A. gets Bonk for a third round pick (77th) and we get Bonk for a third round (95th?) and a downgrade in our backup goalie. Yeap makes sense to me.

This also tells me Kovalev is gone (so we lose Balej but "hurrah" get back that second round pick we lost - maybe it won't even be as as high).

Bonk is a centreman - I wonder if that means Ribeiro is on his way out.

$3.5 million for Bonk!!!! This is a terrible trade.
Well do you really think that Ottawa would have traded Bonk for Garon or vice versa? Or that USA would give something to Syria? No, but they both do it via *under-cover* stuff.

L.A DG call Gainey and ask if he want Bonk for Garon and some pick. Then after some beers and chips the trade is completed.

And its possible that Ottawa didnt have a clue about all the L.A DG minds.
