Um, what? Where did I even say that in my post?

The point is that we were THE #1 team in the conference before the trade deadline, and we were THE #1 team in the conference at the end of the regular season.

You seem to be forgetting a pretty glaring detail; Huet wasn't the #1 goalie on our team anymore. Price was, and he forced Gainey's hand. Fact is, Huet was playing terrible and even PRIOR to the trade deadline it was pretty evident that Price was our #1 goalie.

Honestly, management didn't feel confident in Huet anymore, and neither did the fans. If you want to argue some kind of point, at least get your facts straight.
