Rds.ca report (Timmins)
http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chronique...N40DE2000.html
Ce Yemelin ne craint pas le jeu robuste, a dit Timmins. Il est très solide dans les batailles individuelles. Il est un type de défenseur, comme Darius Kasparaitis, que les attaquants détestent affronter.

Translation :
Yemelin doesn't fear away form physical play, said Timmins. He is very solid in individual battles (1 on 1). He is a defenseman in the same type of Darius Kasparaitis, one that forwards hate playing against.

Canadiens.com report
http://www.canadiens.com/eng/news/re...ewsItemID=3834
A pure stay-at-home defenseman, the 18-year-old has shown a mean streak around opponents in his own end, a fact born out by the 180 penalty minutes he registered in 52 games. In addition to enjoying the physical play, the Togliatti native is consistently hard-working, and brings to the rink an exceptionally positive attitude.
"His style of play reminds us a lot of Darius Kaparaitis when he first came into the league," said Tremor Timmins, the Canadiens' Director of Player Personnel. "What sold us on his abilities, though, was the fact that he never seems to lose a one-on-one battle. He always comes up with the puck."
