To me, it's simple.

We had no room, we were not going to make room and he never would have found a regular shift with us.

For them, I think he'll be a good little player and score 50ish points. Does that mean we made a mistake? No.

Fact is, if we keep drafting like we have, we have to trade prospects who go on to be good NHLers. There is no way around it.

The only way this is a net loss for us is if Grabovski goes on to be a better NHLer than Plekanec. I doubt that.
