I really hope Jags talks up the Rangers organization and the NHL to Cherry. I could see the KHL offering him more money than he could get in a rookie contract and he ends up staying overseas.

That's always the worry, but I think it comes down to how bad he wants to play in the NHL. If he really wants to try his hand at the NHL, he'll come play even if he doesn't make as much money at first.
