Well, I think your last comment said it best. The Rangers right now have about 8 younger players that can play on the bottom two lines. The prospects that could possibly play on the top 2 lines still need a few years to develop. Palffy wouldn't be getting in anybody's way next year. when palffy is 35 jessiman dawes kopieski should be ready to step in.
