what does it matter if its before his time. I never saw ted williams play but i can tell you he is a good hitter. how about you go ask islander fans how much they love maloney?

i would suggest that the islanders didn't do there homework with brett lindros. The Rangers did theres. Lets not forget lindros will be playing hockey three years after the trade. Sather didn't give up any future stars when he made the trade. It was worth the risk. Lindros made a first line player out of mike york.
