Keenan may have his issues but he does know hockey and can assess talent. For example, he did a fair job in Vancouver where the team was essentially a disaster when he arrived. Sure, a lot of credit goes to Burke, and rightly so, but Keenan got things started.

When he was in Saint-Louis, it was a win now at all costs mentality as in New York. I don't think he'll be doing that in Florida. If a talent like Weiss is traded, you can be sure it won't be for Stephane Matteau. Consider what he got for Trevor Linden when in Vancouver, Shane Corson in Saint-Louis, Denis Savard in Chicago and so on...
