Another odd night of Trotzonian TOI -

Some noteables:
Arnott - 16:38
Nichol - 14:17
Smithson - 15:49
Ward - 15:37

Jones - 12:17
Hornqvist - 13:21

The Predators only took 3 penalties tonight, and two of them led to a 5 on 3. We also had 3 powerplays. In other words, there were no specialty team reasons to see Smithson/Nichol/Ward get such elevated minutes......Odd to say the least. Why Trotz thinks Arnott/Dumont/Erat/Legwand should only get 15-16 minutes a night with our weak offense is mind-boggling.....
First of all let me say....um are you sure there weren't four or five time Hamhuis was hung out to dry by his partner?????

Second, I don't have a problem with the top line seeing no time in the waning minutes of a game that we are leading. Arnott and Dumont give up way tooooo many goals for my liking. The more I watch those two the more I think we may need to break them up if we want to pull above 500.

Third, that is the Pekka we want....if he keeps playing like that he will be the starter by the end of the season for sure. I mean they played a decent game defensively but Pekka made a difference tonight. The type that I haven't seen Ellis make yet.

But that's just me....who knows what will happen next game.
