Since our boys will be playing against the best young hopefuls of Toronto, Ottawa and Florida in early September, here are their development camp lineups.

Some interesting observations:

- Ottawa sure likes to draft from US colleges and from the US Tier I and Tier II junior ranks these days. A big team, has some good talent in net, on D, and up front, but lacks the depth of our prospect team IMO. Lyamin is missing, and would make this a much tougher team in September.

- Florida would be a much better team with Anthony Stewart on it, and we may see him yet in the fall at the tourney. Decent team, should be a good yardstick against which our boys can measure themselves.

- Toronto should not strike fear into anyone. Good D depth, but glarily lacking depth in net and up front. Not having early round picks for the last few seasons has really hurt the Leafs' younger prospect depth and talent pool, but their older defensive prospects are really quite good.
