I'm going to take another personal favorite who will fit in great on my tough, scrappy, goal-scoring bottom 6. I think he was "clearly" the best player out west immediately post-expansion, and I think it's fair to say he was no worse than "arguably" the best. Fittingly, the anniversary of his single best game -- a 6 goal effort AT Philly -- was just a couple days ago. He wasn't a prima-donna goal scorer -- he did a bit of everything, including earn a minor (arguably token?) role on Team Canada '72. One can debate the merits of Western conference expansion accomplishments, but I don't think you can debate the value of:
