As a rookie, he almost single-handily lead our club to the playoffs. We were struggling and he put confidence back into our guys.

Last year, he got the shaft for Price, which is understandable.. but he was excellent in his few games.

This year, he's played in four games.. two games fairly close to one-another and he was superb. Then two games in a 3-week span.. he wasn't very good.

Halak is USED to being a starter.. and it's probably going to take him awhile to get USED to being the #2 guy for awhile. He rides on confidence from playing every night.. rather than sitting off for two weeks.
As far as ive seen him play, he has always looked weak and inferior to Huet including his rookie year, i do not agree at all that he single-handily did anything special that year, it really was a team effort that almost brought us in the playoff. This is my opinion. Last year he was ok in the season but weak in the playoff.
