I wouldn't be scared to do that, if I could get the right players with him. As the draft began, I actually thought I'd be taking him up in the 200's, just to make sure I'd get him before BM67. I had a plan to get Coleman's entire 1893-1926 AST, but it fell apart when I missed out on Cleghorn and realized that my memory failed me and the third forward was Malone and not Pitre. Then I saw how low he went last time and kept thinking "I'll take him next round" and then when it came time to get a 2nd line center, I needed size in a big way and passed on him. Not to mention that throughout the middle of the draft I was sensing some anti-pre-NHL sentiments and didn't want to have a roster that relied too heavily on such players.
Still... Lalonde, Nighbor, Benedict... not too shabby.
