Now, if you look at the PP you see that the pk doesnt give the right point man that much respect and focuses more on Kovalev on the boards. This leads to Kovalev not being able to set up properly.
I wonder if calling up Weber would really make a difference? He is a shooter but I'm not sure if he is ready for the NHL yet. I feel like all our pointman Markov, Tanguay, S.Kost, Brisebois are all pass-oriented and that is hurting us.
I think you pretty much nailed it...but as other said, the solution can be found inside; AK at the point seems like a great idea since on top of having great playmaking skills he has a hard, accurate shot as well as excellent one timing abilities. Weber could be also an option, as he seems to be in the mold of Streit. Only problem with the last option is whose place does Weber take?
