We will have to see how the newer players perform in 2010 olympics. That will be the ultimate test for them. I will always remember 98 olympics and that team in general. 90's weren't the best years for Russia in general, but that team really stood out.

The new guys already accomplished more then the older ones at their age.

You really had to see the the way fedorov, bure and mogilny played though. Bure had 5 50+ goal seasons. He is third in goals/game ratio, guess behind which two? Both fedorov and bure were playoff warriors, while none of the new 3 can be compared.

The game was really different then though. We should all appreciate the old and enjoy the new.
