You're aware that Sergei won the OHL hardest shot award 2 years ago? He has a shot as hard if not harder than Streit's.
A RH shot on the right point means no one-timers....pretty much ever. Markov being LH on the left point never uses one-timers and his bread & butter is those cross ice passes to Kovalev & sneaking in backdoor and tapping the puck in. You put a RH shot on the right point and that gives the opposition one less thing to worry about. A LH shot there makes it much more multi-faceted and versatile and keeps the opposition on their toes.
