Regarding O'Byrne - I think, regardless of what anyone thinks about his future, right now he can be considered a marginal NHL defenceman. If Lever considers him way ahead of schedule, does that mean the organization expected O'Byrne to be still in the AHL at 24 years old? At that age, an AHL'er is probably a career AHL'er, or is going to Europe.
