4 M a year for 4 years wasn't enough to keep Zhitnik with the Sabres. Zhitnik is a very good #2, who shouldn't be entrusted with the #1 role, but is sometimes capable of playing that way. He would strive well in Ottawa, as well as in Detroit for example, the team that he decides to sign will pay good money for him, it remains to see if it will be slighly above 4 M or slightly under it.
