Let's see. We get the same type of player, only with the physical aspect of Kovy's game not being replaced. I fail to see how this could ever be seen as a fair trade in the eyes of the OP. It's like wanting to trade an Audi A4 for a Jetta. Kovalev won't be traded unless Gainey gets an incredible absolutely one-sided proposal, and this is far from it.
