Storr is a good candidate but Potvin was the invisible man.


In 2001-02, the Kings were awesome in front of Potvin and Storr. Injuries took over in 2002-03 and 2003-04. Potvin managed a 2.31 GAA and a .907 SPCT (2001-02)… compare it to Cechmanek and Huet. Potvin makes their performance look stellar. To this day I can’t figure out why so may LA Kings fans loved Potvin… was it the dolls? The only real reason I can think of why the Kings didn’t play Storr more was because he wasn’t liked as much by his teammates or maybe coaches?? Storr appeared to be a flake in the interviews I saw, but based on performance Storr outplayed Potvin.
